Peptidci

Peptitler (Grekçe: πεπτίδια; “önemsiz sindirilebilirler”) tanılamamlanmış bir düzende, α-amino asitlerin birbirine ilişkilanmasıyla oluşan güdük polimerlerdir.[1] Bir amino asit sözıntısı ile diğeri arasındaki bağ bir “amit bağ” veya peptit bağı olarak bilinir.[1]

Tetrapeptit (Oligopeptit)
Proteinler polipeptit molekülleridir (veya çok skorda polipeptit alt birimi barındırır). Asıl fark peptitlerin güdük, polipeptitlerin/proteinlerin ise uzun olmasıdır.[1]

Protein sentezi sırasında her amino asit, sair amino asite sabah akşam, kırılmayan bir polimer olan polipeptid zincirleriyle ilişkilanır. Polipeptid bünyesına katılan amino asitlerin her biri bünyeya peptid ilişkilarıyla ilişkilanır. Peptid bağının oluşumu sırasında amino asitlerden birinin amino grubu ile diğerinin karboksil grubu, aradan bir deniz çıkması sonucu birleşirler.[1]

Vasati bir polipeptit zinciri 450 amino asitten oluşur.[1] Malum en uzun polipeptit, yaklaşık 27,000 amino asitten oluşan, kas dokusunda kâin “titin”dir. Polipeptid zincirine katılan amino asitlere sözıntı (residue) adı verilir.[1] Zincirin bir ucundaki sözıntı, bağ yapmamış, hür amino grubu barındırır ve N ucu olarak adlandırılır. Aynı şekilde zincirin sair ucundaki hür α-karboksil grubu olan sözıntıya C ucu adı verilir.
